A window display featuring a polymorphic installation signalling a new direction for the brand.
This window installation, created for the opening of the client´s new womenswear concept store in San Sebastián, features a geometrically aligned series of eight bicompartmental metallic structures each of which contain a set of eight 3D printed building blocks.
The blocks are made from biodegradable materials designed solely for this project, inspired by the FW17 campaign which was shot in a local quarry. Each block requires in excess of 19 hours to print and has been elegantly crafted and finished ‘in raw’ with a sophisticated semi-translucent soft texture that evokes femininity.
Modules are easily attached to each other in different configurations displaying a specific product as solitary or connected, fitting together to create various effects. Each combination can be changed, with multiple orders, types or quantity of elements.
The result is an intriguing window display which represents a fracture in a mine suggesting a new direction for the brand.
